And you're right, they would've all been so much better off as the leading men. Well... Sephy makes a pretty good villain, but still. XD I do like both Tidus and Vaan (the latter of which makes such cute faces that I can't not like him), but I was so mad when I read that Basch was supposed to be the main character. I'd take old and awesome over young and not-quite-as-awesome any day.

And Auron wins over everyone automatically. Nothing else to it.

I've never played FF7, I've just read alot about it, and watched the AC movie (Which I was completely lost in the first 10x I watched it.).

I h.a.t.e. Tidus. I just want to beat the snot out of him, he whined too much. Vaan was pretty good, I laughed at all the trouble he got himself into by just talking. He was clueless but once I heard Basch was supposed to be the lead...I don't like Vaan quite as well.

*nods* Auron is the man....Dead man.

XD I made a bunch of my friends watch it once, and I had to stop it every so often to explain everything. I played 7 a long time ago, and really enjoyed it - it has a very good plot, is utterly baffling even after your fifth playthrough, and has some extremely funny parts. Like Cloud in a dress. It's rather lovely. X3 I'm willing to accept almost anything Square Enix comes out with, so I really enjoyed Dirge Of Cerberus, too. Vincent = gorgeous.

Ahem.

XD I like Tidus a great deal, probably because he's very different from the other protagonists... or at least, for me, at the time he was. XD I'd seen Squall, who was emotionally damaged through the whole game, and then Cloud, who had enough problems to make anyone glad they weren't him... Tidus was just fun. XD Part of why I liked him, though, was his relationship with Auron - they're so mean to each other. And it's hilarious. X3

I've seen pictures of Cloud in a dress all over the internet, never really understood what that was about either. That explains it somewhat. Vincent, vampire boy right? I can't forget him, twin squealed everytime she saw him in the movie then she got ahold of the game...*holds head*

I never do take to any main characters well. I usually hate them with a passion or I just ingore their exsitence. Cloud and Squall = EMO. XD

I kept thinking Auron was going to A- Throw him off something into pointy objects. B-Kill him for touching the coat. C- Glady hand him back over to sin and blame Jecht for the gray hairs.

XD It was a lovely scene. He and Aerith had to get all got up in dresses so they could sneak into this pimp's mansion and rescue Tifa, and then if you got all the right items, the pimp would pick Cloud to "spend the night" in his room and it was HILARIOUS. XD Some parts of that game were just ridiculous. Kind of like X-2 - the creators had to be on crack through parts of it.

Cloud's all right, everyone fusses over him way too much. He's cool, but he's not cooler than everybody. And the first time I saw Squall was in Kingdom Hearts, which was where I completely fell in love with the character. XD And that only got worse when he acted (close to) the same way in FF8 and ended up falling in love (which I'm a complete sucker for).

One of my absolute favorite parts of X was where Seymour said that Auron smelled like Farplane (eau de pyreflies?) and Tidus proceeded to sniff him. Sniff him. I died laughing. And he kind of raised him from afar, which I think is cute - no matter how cranky he gets, there's at least a little soft spot that he's got tucked away somewhere.

I swear the creators did have to be on something to make some of those scenes in FFX-2.

XD Hopeless romantic as your tag video said eh? I'm not one for the romance, I perfer war, that love stuff has never interested me unless it's a partnership of some kind like Balthier and Fran. Equals.

Yeah, I remember that part, I was editing it a few days ago. Tidus does seem to do the wierdest things, espically when it comes to Auron.

XD You saw that? Well, yes ma'am, I am definiely a hopeless romantic. X3 When I was little, I readily accepted stories like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (which are incredibly stupid when I look back at them) in which the princess met the prince just once and ended up marrying them and living happily ever after. XD That's why I love Enchanted, because it made fun of that, and I'm old enough to realize that it's completely ridiculous. But I love any good story, regardless of what's in it - I'm particularly fond of war myself. X3 Big old fashioned kingdom-against-kingdom swords-drawn all-holds-barred knock-outs are my kind of thing - romance in a story is usually just a big fat bonus check for me.

XD He really does... and they rib each other a lot. Auron, when you look at him closely, has one of the best senses of humor. It's a little dry (he needs some work), and I almost never got it the first time through, but when I look back and listen to some of the things he said, it just cracks me up. Most of his best jokes are about Tidus.

Yes, I've just been insanely forgetful and lazy about commenting lately. Never seen Enchanted, so it's a good movie?

I love the old-fashioned fights as well, gun fights, unless it is done in an extremely good way, are not that fun to read. Big fat bonus check - *nods*

Auron had me laughing the entire time during FFX espically with the jokes towards Tidus. Tidus is just a guinei pig for humour.
